VIRAL VIDEO. In 2002-2003, three years before YouTube, Larry created the first viral video where people could add text to the video and then share with a friend.
WALLS. First to create a whole new way of viewing and exploiting data via a new format call "walls" or "assignable spaces." This dynamic multi-use format puts voluminous data in a small space where users can quickly scan literally hundreds of thumbnail photos and by clicking on any icon, get full information on that particular topic. Larry used the "wall" technology in many high-level applications including Cabbage Patch Kids, The Sound LA (click on the album cover to see the wall), and most recently in the Presidential campaign of 2008.
